Glaud, the operator of JustScan, announced on the 8th that it has secured 8.6 billion KRW (approx. $6.4 million) in Series A funding. Through this investment round, the company’s corporate valuation was recognized at 28 billion KRW.

Participants in this investment round include SBI Investment, Quantum Ventures Korea, Korea Investment Partners, Next Unicorn Investment Fund, Ulsan TIPS Venture Fund, and SEMA Investment.

Glaud’s 'JustScan' is a solution that supplies digital dental treatment workflows and medical data via the cloud, while also providing training for medical staff.

Leveraging its proprietary 3D printer 'Just Print 5' and 'Beluga AI Prosthetic Design,' the solution enables real-time prosthetic design and production. This allows high-quality prosthetics to be fitted to patients within just 30 minutes after an oral scan.

Glaud has already initiated its entry into the global market by participating in AEEDC, the dental equipment exhibition held in Dubai, UAE, in January, and IDS 2025, the international dental show held in Cologne, Germany, in March.

With this new funding, the company plans to accelerate its expansion into the global digital dentistry market.

In the second half of this year, Glaud aims to diversify its product portfolio to include dentures for edentulous patients and aesthetic veneer treatments.

Jin-Woo Ji, CEO of Glaud, stated, "Reducing the stress patients feel during dental treatment is the starting point of JustScan. We aim to increase accessibility to medical care by reducing treatment time and minimizing pain and discomfort through technology."

Meanwhile, Glaud has previously been selected for numerous public support programs, including the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' TIPS, IBK Changgong, KODIT’s First Penguin program, and the Daegu Center for Creative Economy & Innovation’s Initial Startup Package.
