Digital dentistry startup JustScan (CEO Jin-Woo ji) caught the attention of visitors and the industry in an unprecedented way at SIDEX 2025 (Seoul International Dental Exhibition & Scientific Congress), held at COEX, Seoul, from May 30 to June 1.
The booth JustScan unveiled at this exhibition was an immersive brand platform themed around a subway station.
By combining the retro vibe of the New York MTA with the structural precision of the Seoul Metro, they created a virtual station named 'JustScan Station D-212.' Visitors received actual tickets, stamped them, and "boarded" the platform, allowing them to intuitively experience the flow of JustScan’s technology.
A particular highlight was the demonstration of the real-time prosthetic production workflow.
The process showed how data scanned at a clinic is uploaded to the JustScan web platform, undergoes AI design and quality control (QC), and is then immediately printed on a 3D printer within the clinic. The on-site demonstration, which completed the entire process—from printing temporary crowns and inlays to post-processing (washing and curing)—in just 25 minutes, garnered an enthusiastic response from attendees.
Additionally, a brief preview of the 'just Veneer' line, scheduled for release at the end of the year, was presented, showcasing JustScan's potential for expansion into the laminate veneer sector.
The on-site events also created a buzz. Visitors who completed the subway boarding stamp tour and uploaded a verification photo were automatically entered into a lucky draw to win generous prizes.
Meanwhile, CEO Jin-Woo Ji drew attention by revealing the status of JustScan’s overseas business and plans for global market expansion.
CEO Ji stated, "We launched a pilot service in Melbourne, Australia, last month, and we plan to establish a branch in Singapore within this month. We believe Singapore is an ideal testbed due to its very high penetration rate of intraoral scanners."
He added, "We are also preparing for pilot tests in Japan and Taiwan, aiming for an official launch as early as the beginning of next year."
Highlighting the momentum, he remarked, "As interest from clinicians in JustScan continues to rise, now is not the time to slow down. We will simultaneously pursue technological advancement and global expansion."
Furthermore, JustScan unveiled new membership plans and printer rental promotions at the exhibition, expressing its commitment to expanding domestic and international partnerships and lowering entry barriers for users.
